This is a new venture for Pirrie Performing Arts and our teams are eagerly waiting the return of competitions in 2021! We hope to create a supportive group for those students wishing to further their training and enjoy the experience of being part of a competitive team.

Being a part of a team is a big commitment and takes a dedication to your training.
​
We do not audition for our competitive teams however our team members must meet a minimum requirement of classes.
​
Members are placed in groups in the genre we feel they are best suited alongside age/ability.
Our competitive teams train from our Perth studios twice a week. With our studio location being so accessible we have students travel from Perth, Fife and the surrounding areas to be part of our teams!

Team members meet a minimum of 3 classes per week, including team practise and take private lessons for solos and duos.

My best memories of doing competitions as a child are not about where I was placed.
Instead I remember days filled doing what I love, making lifelong friendships and at the same time learning lessons that shaped me into the person I am today.
Competitions taught me to work hard, be dedicated, and always give your best!
I am excited to share that journey with our own students and create more fond memories as I watch proudly (and anxiously) from the audience!
