I have no experience. Can I join in?Yes! Our classes are designed to introduce students to drama, dance and/or singing depending on their style preference or whichever class they wish to try. We work on building skills and confidence and we have more advanced classes as our dancer and performers progress
-
Can we try a class before we commit?Yes! We offer a free trial in almost all of our classes. If there is availability in the class you can sign up for a trial and you can trial as many classes as you like!
-
Can I stay and watch?Mini Movers: Our Mini Movers class requires a parent/carer to be present and participate alongside the child for the duration of class encouraging your child to listen and follow. All other classes: In our experience, children relax, pay attention, and enjoy the lessons far more without a parent or carer watching as it can be distracting. Therefore parents are only allowed to settle a child in for their first class in rare circumstances. Our qualified teachers are experienced with first time nerves and work hard to ensure new students settle into class. We hold parent/carer “watch week” once or twice each year where we invite parents/carers into class to see what the students have been working on. Showtime - Every year, we work towards our annual variety show. You will find more details about this on our website and in your registration info pack.
-
Can I wait on site?Parents of all pre school children should stay and wait in the reception area. Parents of P1+ children can leave the studio/venue and should return in time for the end of class.
-
Can my child still join the classes if the term has already started ?Yes! Provided there is a space in class and it’s not ‘show term’ we welcome new joiners at any point. You will only pay for the remaining lessons in that term and if the class is full you can join the ‘Waiting list’
-
How long do I need to wait if I join a waiting list?Waiting list times can vary from class to class. We monitor these regularly and as soon as a space opens up we will be in touch.
-
What should I wear to class?Depending on the class you are trialing there are different requirements. For ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary and acro please wear tight fitting clothing - ie leggings and vest top. For musical theatre, street dance and stage school, t-shirt and leggings/joggers with indoor trainers is great!
-
How much are classes? Our class rates vary depending on the length and style of class. Class fees are set per term and each term will vary in length. Term fees are set according to the number of weeks in a term and we confirm these at the start of each school year.
